Where else in Nottingham can you meet Marilyn Monroe and Charlie Chaplin, have your photograph taken on a Harley Davidson and raise money for Breast Cancer Research? The answer is 'A Night At The Oscars' at Colwick Hall in May 2006, organized by kreem, in association with Cancer Research UK. Over 350 guests were treated to a champagne reception, dinner and dancing alongside silver screen legends Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Charlie Chaplin. The event, sponsored by Robin Hood Harley Davidson and The Tier Hairdressing at Holmes Place, was hosted by Anne Davies, alongside fellow BBC presenter James Lewis and cricket commentator Jonathan 'Aggers' Agnew. A fabulous £23,500 was raised on the evening. Be sure to book your tickets for next year's 'Fire and Ice' ball - details as listed on this site |
